What I Did: The owl was just so cute and the directions looked so easy, all you had to do was follow the pictures. I went out and got cute fabrics and thread and buttons and everything needed. Took nearly half an hour cutting the fabric perfectly and then about another 30 minutes actually sewing the thing. Everything seemed to be going well until I started stuffing it. This was the eventual outcome. Fail.

Next Time I Will: Have some sewing talent.
I’d like ot offer some helpful suggestions but I have no idea what went wrong. I have considered making that owl myself…thanks for the warning.
I decided to give it another try and the second one came out much better. If you’re actually crafty it might work,. If you have zero craft skills in your body but a decent amount of determination, it might turn it out a bit better the second time
it looks more like some kind of bug or something… lol!

This looks quite easy on the inspirational-blog and I can see in your picture, where you went wrong … But major points for effort AND for trying it a second time
