What I Did: Nothing about this came out right. It tasted worse than it looked. Even my 4-year-old twins were disgusted. The bright side of this whole mess is that now I own a new $20 Bundt pan for the next horrible Pinterest experiment.
My Result:
Next Time I Will: not make this recipe. There is far too much liquid in the fruit as per the recipe, so the cake mix will just collapse. Perhaps if you added less fruit? Nah - just skip this.
Ugh, how can it taste worse than it looked? It looks like caramels with wet, shredded toilet paper.
Seriously, what in the world did you do wrong? Obviously not follow the recipe. At no point do I say dump it out of the pan..in fact, I stress all over NOT to, this is a scooper cake. I have had hundreds of people make this recipe. Sorry it failed for you but really the fail falls on you.
I also always thought dump cakes got made in casserole dishes since they were scoop desserts. I don’t see the point of investing in a “$20 Bundt Pan”… User Error for sure!
I don’t think either way the pan would matter. I personally like the bundt pant because it looks cuter lol. No matter how you slice or dice it, she clearly didn’t follow the recipe and she wants to call it a pinterest fail. I wonder how many others she messed up on??
