What I Did: I was really excited to do this project with my younger cousin as a fun activity. We followed the directions exactly. However, they did not turn out at all.

Next Time I Will: One of the biggest problems was using too much dough. It recommends grape sized balls that combine to make a larger ball, but I would recommend using less. Also, I think we baked them too long.

One of the things I see from your posts is that you’re putting a lot of cookies on the pan. With that sized pan you should have 6-8 cookies max. Also, this is pretty typical with all cookies but make sure the dough is chilled so that they don’t just “melt”.
I would suggest using parchment paper to line your cookie sheet, use a cookie sheet (not a sheet cake pan) and make sure your oven is the correct temp.
