What I Did: Here was my Pinterest efforts of trying to make Christmas eggs with candy in them. And to think I thought I’d be able to make twenty of them. I even followed the instructions to the tee. Woke up this morning to this blob of something.
My Result:
These glue-things-around-balloons projects almost never seem to work.
It either needs a different type of glue that gives it rigidity and the ability to hold its shape, or get rid of the yarn in place for the stiffer grassy/woody stuff that commercial items that look like this are made from.
Oh, and a balloon covered in vaseline/petroleum jelly so that the project doesn’t implode as the balloon deflates.
Maybe I will be bored enough this long weekend to try making it for myself.
