What I Did: I have baked kale chips before and they turned out ok, but this time I just messed up with the time. I left them in the oven and I got distracted eating my dinner.
My Result:
Next Time I Will: Put a timer not to forget that I placed a tray in the oven, and check the oven regularly to turn the leaves upside down.
Looks more like mushrooms. At least you know how to correct. Sorry for laughing at your loss.

On the actual fail… I’ve had some oven flops myself. No shame!
MesqSandra, I thought this was a safe place.
laura_gabs, Kale chips are very tricky. Don’t ever leave the kitchen. Also, it helps to stir around the leaves while baking. Oh, and make sure they are super dry before you put into the oven. I love them, but my kids refuse to eat them!
