What I Did: I wanted to make something neat for an Easter event that my boyfriend and I were invited to. These worked out GREAT! I used the wrong dough, the individually cut crescent roll dough, so it was a little difficult but ended up well. I also didn’t have the metal cones so had to make my own by cutting apart some foil pans. But I think that they worked out well - next time, I won’t paint them orange, my friends were a bit suspicious about eating non-natural food dye. I used avocado instead of mayonnaise in my egg salad and it was really good.
My Result:
Next Time I Will: Next time I would buy the correct sheet dough and not paint the carrots. Also, I would make my egg salad a bit chunkier because it leaked a but through the bread.
