What I Did: The secret to making this lamp is : 1) use the right product and 2) be very, very, very careful when you remove the structure from the balloon. It took me 4 attempts to make this lamp. It is NOT as easy as it seems . The secret is to find the right product. After trying wallpaper adhesive, a home made glue based on plain flower and ordinary glue, I tried fabric hardener. Fabric hardener is like magic 🙂 The doily’s became quite hard. After removing the balloon it was quite a quest to attach the lamp. But after some additional hours I succeeded and I am now the proud owner of this fabulous lamp!

Next Time I Will: Don’t try ordinary glue, immediately go for the strong products! 🙂
