What I Did: Corn dogs sounded like something I could make cheaper by making at home that my kids would eat. I used some corn muffin mix instead of the website recipe because it was cheap and simple.
My Result:
Next Time I Will: Next time (if there is on) I will follow the recipe exactly!!

Imagine that! Make up your own instructions and it fails.
step 1, follow none of the instructions
step 2, make up your own
step 3… profit??
Come on now, you have to follow instructions. That is what they are there for, right?
I have actually made these following the directions and they turn out really well.
If you boil the hotdogs before battering them (pull them out of the water and dry them off before you dip them in the batter), the batter will stick better.
also make sure you dry the dogs completly.. the breading wont stick to a wet hotdog!
