What I Did: This looked like a simple and fun Christmas craft to make for gifts. The candies remained unmelted until they spontaneously frothed like a rabid dog. The reality looks like something from ‘The Exorcist’.
My Result:
Next Time I Will: There will be no next time. I will feed the evidence of this embarrassment to the worms in my compost.
I am wondering if the mints you used were soft in the middle like bridge mints or were the solid mints? Did you have a thermometer in your oven?
