Made it many years ago with fabric stiffener instead of glue and it worked beautifully. Made them last year with glu and they looked similar to these. If you add some very disappointed kids in the background.
Mine looked worse than yours, too. I was using it for a children’s sermon at church….. The morning of - Ever so carefully popped that water balloon…. I was amazed at how fast it failed and how quickly my hopes were dashed / panic arose.
I tired those as decorations for my wedding and used the glue, and fabric softener methods. Both failed miserably!! Was so dissappointed cuz they would have looked sooo good at my wedding!!!
