What I Did: I chose this for a potluck Christmas party. I thought it looked adorable and easy. Turns out, whipped cream is hard. I don’t have piping experience so I kinda winged it with cutting a hole in a Ziplock baggie. Halfway through the disaster, I almost ran out of whipped cream, so some of them only have dots, while others have the full hat effect, for better or worse. Also, they don’t transport well.
My Result:
Next Time I Will: I would leave off the stupid Santa hat thingies.
You must have had the smallest amount of whipped cream ever! lol
In all seriousness, though. I think the pom-poms on top are critical to these being cute, so you could always bring some cream with you and do the pom-poms right before you serve. Just a thought 🙂
