Yours looks real and probably delicious despite slight singe. Theirs looks like a disgustingly sweet bad-for- you sugar load. I would eat the ones you made and throw theirs in the garbage.
I agree with anonymous. Yours look tasty, like burnt sugar!
I’ve made these multiple times now, and there are two things I can say about these pancakes:
1. I’m a health food freak, and even I enjoy these sugary, delicious things. haha and
2. You have to act quickly with these. They will not be the same golden color you are used to with normal pancakes, but a white color. Also, be sure to keep the cinnamon filling closer to the center of the pancake because it will melt off and ruin the whole setup of the pancake!

I made several attempts at these. I think they didn’t flip them and finish cooking theirs for the photo. 😉 I added a thin coat of pancake mix over the swirl and family liked them better. They are delicious though!
