What I Did: Unable to get the inside out of the marshmallow, I just put it INTO the Kahlua!

Wouldn’t the marshmallows melt when filled with liquid anyway? This is baffling me.
I’ve been successful at this but you need to roast the marshmallows over a fire on a stick (but don’t poke the stick all the way through the marshmallow) and then just peel the outside layer off. Then you very quickly pour the liquor into the shell of the marshmallow and eat it fast as it will start to dissolve!
I’ve only seen this be successful once. Threadbanger did it for a “vs Pin” video and I believe they held each mallow over the gas burner on a skewer. Definitely not worth the effort but still a neat novelty.
Couldn’t you gut the marshmallow before toasting while it’s firm? Then you can use a blow torch to brown the shell?
