What I Did: I wanted to try this activity with my year 2s. Had a few tries…….this was the best. Needless to say, we will be painting next art lesson.

Would like to know what you actually did, it’s not helpful when there’s no info on the fail. Also the site linked doesn’t have very in-depth directions and doesn’t describe them as drink coasters, so I’m not even sure where that came from. This picture seems to be a pinterest black hole, because even though the site that’s linked here acknowledges some original source, it isn’t linked and image searching just turns up pinterest link that either link back to this page or useless robot content pages. The closest I found was here: http://craftwhack.com/chihuly-inspired-art/ which again, doesn’t present it as coasters but takes inspiration from Dale Chihuly stained glass. Lots of q & a on that site. success or failure really depends on your expectations.
not sure why you’re referencing drink coasters… i don’t see the OP reference them as such at all?
