What I Did: I teach a U.S. History class at my house for my kids and some of our homeschool friends. We’re studying Benjamin Franklin, who as a boy learned candle making from his father. I thought it would be great to actually dip our own candles. As the candles took shape, I noticed they were looking more like certain male body parts, and less like taper candles. The kids started making comments. “They look like a snake.” “They look like a fish.” “They look like a yam.” I prayed that none of them would blurt out the word for what they really looked like. Nailed it!
My Result:
Next Time I Will: Next time we will do a better job of shaping so they don’t look like something from the naughty store. I have to fix them and melt the bottoms because they’re going to be part of a display for your end of year big event.

As soon as I saw the thumbnail I was like: “Oh PLEASE let there be a good story behind this.” And you delivered. I can’t stop laughing!
From one candle maker to another: I think you may have a new career going here!
Loved your “fail”!
