What I Did: My friend wanted to try to find something new to bake at our girls cookie baking afternoon. It seemed easy enough. The cake ball base was prepared without issue, however after getting input from some of our baker friends after the incident, the instructions did not note that you should dip the stick in melted chocolate and let that chill inside of the cake ball. So, when we didn’t do that, the cake balls kept falling through the sticks and fell apart as we were dipping them in the chocolate.
My Result:
Next Time I Will: The tip we heard from a couple professional bakers after the incident was to melt the chocolate, dip the stick in the chocolate, poke it in the cake and freeze for a couple hours to let the stick set.

I like yours so much better!! =)
They kinda got a Tim Burton kinda vibe!
That literally gave me a start!
This just nearly brought me to tears from laughing so hard. Thank you!
This made me laugh out loud. Looks like Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas. I like yours better
DONT freeze it! it will crack when you dip it when it expands back out. Put in the freezer for max 5 minutes to harden the chocolate. The trick is vegetable oil to thin out the chocolate. but use a little at a time not to make it too thin. 😉
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha….
Yours are really cute. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of totally successful homemade cake pops.
Just rename your creations ” Zombie Snowmen Pops” and problem solved. Martha Stewart eat your brain…er heart out!!
