What I Did: Sounded like an easy yummy snack so I had to try it. The kids were so excited and it smelled great. Within minutes the bananas started melting or something, definately NOT frying nicely like the picture. And it tasted terrible - not even the dog wanted a taster!
My Result:
Next Time I Will: We won’t be trying it again. If I could think of any changes, I would say maybe firmer bananas?

thanks for sharing! the only thing i notice is that there seems to be a lot of water in the pan. i fry plantain a lot, which is similar to this recipe. but i never use water at all and they come out perfect, so i’m guessing that the purpose of the water in this recipe is to dilute the honey a little bit.

17. September - 12:18 pmI think you added the water/honey too soon and the recipe clearly states an under ripe banana. User error not recipe fail.
