What I Did: Everything was going perfectly - melted chocolate and little cake balls. But when dipped in chocolate, the sticks fell completely out and the balls fell apart.

Out of curiosity I went to the original blog, which is an entertaining read. However, when you drill down past the “ZOMG cutegasm” posts, some people who,actually tried to make them commented. In the comments the writer says to freeze them and decorate straight out of the freezer, but doesn’t appear to have edited the main text in the intervening 5 years.
She prefers her other Oreo recipe, so if the trauma ever subsides, perhaps that’ll be easier?
