What I Did: We followed the “easy” directions from Pinterest. We blew up the balloons, melted the chocolate, let it cool, dipped the balloon in and set it on paper. After about 2 minutes every balloon popped spraying chocolate all over us, the walls, the counter and the cat.
My Result:
Next Time I Will: I have no idea….. We later tried filling a balloon with water before dipping it and we successfully made 1 bowl.
Poor cat!
Have done this with my 8 year old grandchild and it was a complete success!
Well, at least the cat surely tasted delicious!
your chocolate was too hot. It should be about body temp- dip the back of your knuckle into the chocolate and if you don’t feel anything you’re good. You also may want to go ahead and place it in the fridge or even freezer to let it set up more quickly.
