What I Did: The wine bottles wouldn’t cut straight, the paint ran, the stickers stuck to the bottles.
Next Time I Will: Use rubber bands in stead of stickers
Judging by the texture the paint was sponged on in light layers that way it wouldn’t run.
Ha! I did that too! I had a great idea to make gold “labels” on empty wine bottle s& use that for water bottles at my wedding… big fail and the stupid plastic water bottles we bought at Target were not nearly as fetching,
I like yours much better! Yours has more character and interest and has a bit of a grunge look to it where as the original is too pretty.
I can’t read Portuguese, but if you used spray paint you were probably holding the can too close to the bottle. You’ll want to hold it between 8 and 10 inches away from the bottle that will prevent excess from building up and streaking.
