What I Did: My daughter was turning 1 and we wanted to throw a sesame street themed party. I consider myself pretty crafty so I undertook several Pinterest projects including these cookie monster cupcakes. I changed it up a bit by using marshmallows cut in half as I had them on hand as opposed to the melting chocolates used for the eyes.
My Result:

Next Time I Will: I would add a bit more powdered sugar to the pre-made vanilla frosting so it would stand up in pointier peeks. Also, I used like 40 drops of food coloring so I would suggest loading up on blue if you want to get a truer cookie monster color!

i think these came out pretty darn good!
Those are super cute! I use Wilton food coloring gel, you don’t need near as much and it doesn’t thin frosting as bad as liquid drops.
They’re funnier! I like it 🙂
this is actually really good! you’re being too hard on yourself.
I think those turned out really well! You should definitely feel accomplished, those cupcakes look terribly involved.
These are adorable!!!!!!!!
Best “fail” ever!
