What I Did: My co-workers are addicted to icy pops and we buy them by the case during the summer. When I saw this pin I thought it was brilliant and thought I remembered the pops being supported by the freezer rack so that is how I placed the pops. When they froze they expanded and were stuck in the freezer.
My Result:
Next Time I Will: This project would work if the pops were not placed in the rack.
In the future, if you buy a brand of coffee that comes in a plastic tub, or have one of those qt size yogurt tubs, they are awesome pop holders. (Then again we only freeze 5-10 at a time) 😮
haha…. I can just see your co-workers cussing…. thinking a prank was played as they fight to try and get the pops out. haaaa.
Next time, leave them in the net bag it comes in.

@kaye, when the pops froze they expanded and got stuck in between the spaces in the freezer rack, making them super difficult to get out.
What exactly is the “project” here? I don’t consider putting freezer pops in the freezer to be a project. What am I missing?
Omg!!!! You are going to have to try that again!!! What a brilliant idea!!! I always wondered how could I save the tops of the freezer pop that I was waisting just cutting off and tossing in the trash! And I’ve never let my kids eat them worried about us winding up in the ER from the stitches they would need after cutting their mouths on the plastic!!! Let us all eat freezer pops!!!!!
