What I Did: I’ve had these clear ornaments for years. I always had these awesome mom ideas where I’d be crafty with my kids and come away with awesome memories as well as awesome ornaments. We tried painting a few times and realized we were not crafty enough for that.
Well, when I discovered pinterest, I found all these neat ideas. And lo and behold - I found clear ornament ideas. And better yet - I found ones that didn’t involve paint!
So yeah - used the little puff balls (white for the body and colored for the earmuffs), the pipe cleaners, and a hot clue gun and went to town. Finished up with painting the face and they were done. Awesome craft, lots of fun, and three really neat ornaments that have graced our Christmas tree for two years now.
My Result:
Next Time I Will: Nothing that I can think of. They turned out great. The boys had fun. I wasn’t stressed & angry by the end of it. Win/win in my book!
Wow! you’re actually turned out a lot better than the original ones. The samples look unfinished and lopsided. Adding a mouth and centering the nose really helped alot!
