What I Did: It was a Friday, and I was really excited to make mini mac and cheese cups as a pick-me-up for my coworker. I followed the directions perfectly, but with a few substitutions. Instead of using all the raw ingredients listed for the macaroni’s sauce, I used a jarred cheese sauce and added butter, and garlic. And instead of the Ritz cracker crust, I processed pretzels into the same grainy texture as described. The cups looked amazing while in the muffin tin, but totally failed once pulled out of it. They simply did not stay together. However they still tasted great! I just ate them alone in my kitchen, since their face was not meant for the outside world.
Next Time I Will: leave such a dish to the professionals.
