What I Did: My friend and I chose this project because we had a running joke about panda crafts. We stumbled upon this pin and decided that these cupcakes would be fun to make and were very cute. We did not have a mini cupcake pan, so we decided to make the panda heads with crumbled cupcake and frosting mixed together and formed into a round/head-like shape. We also used red frosting for the mouth instead of chocolate frosting.

My Result:

Next Time I Will: I don’t think this project could have been saved. A more astute baker make have success with re-creating the panda cupcake. However, someone with my skill level will likely always have an excellent fail.

That would be what my attempt at those cupcakes would look like, was I foolish enough to try. I can see it so clearly that, though they are adorable and look even yummier than they are cute, I’m not going to embarrass myself in an attempt. Lol.

I don’t think it’s a matter of skill level as much as it is following directions.

I thought same thing, no offense to the sharer of this adventure. Unless your skill in baking is beyond superb, I don’t think improvising how to make any parts should expect any result close to the example.
Mixing together crumbs and frosting sealed the guarantee that the heads would be messy

Am i the only one alarmed at the fact that the Pandas in Heather’s zoo have bat ears?
    But it sounds tasty actually.
